F.A.Q.’s
Billing
- Q. What are your default terms?
- A. Unless other arrangements are in place for a particular client, our default terms are Net 30 (payment due within 30 days of receipt)
- Q. What if I am late with my payment?
- A. If payment is not received during the period of your current terms, at our discretion we may charge $5.00 per billing period where your balance is over 30 days due.
- Q. What if I am several months behind with my payments?
- A. Once an account reaches 60 days over-due, we send a warning. Once an account is 90 days overdue, we set your website into "maintenance mode" until such time as you bring your account completely up to date. Your terms change at this point also to Due Upon Receipt and will remain so until you demonstrate several months of faithful payments.
Hosting
- Q. Why does my website state it's in a maintenance cycle?
- A. Your hosting account has been temporarily suspended, usually because of a billing problem. Please open a Help Desk ticket, or contact us by phone or email, and we will respond with an explanation.
- Q. Why do you charge $50, when others charge much less?
- A. When you host with us, you are also entitled to unlimited updates, including email addresses, databases, page changes, etc. If you don't need those services on a regular basis, then we encourage you to host elsewhere and use our services as you need at $50/hour, billed in half hour increments with a minimum of one hour per incident.
Pricing
- Q. Many of the listed items refer me to contact you for a quote. Why?
- A. For those items, we have no way to set a fixed price when there are too many questions that can't be answered until we discuss your needs directly.
Technical Support
- Q. Why is the Help Desk not up yet?
- A. Have you ever heard the phrase "The cobbler's children have no shoes"? We're kept pretty busy building and maintaining websites, taking photos, and dealing with life's ups & downs. 'Mas is in the process of putting the finishing touches to the help desk application in amongst everything else and hopes to have it live soon.
- Q. What is the Help Desk For?
- A. It's a means of reporting problems or questions in a way where both you and us can track the progress and later refer back to the information accumulated. If all goes as planned, a text message will be sent to both Patti & 'Mas when a ticket is opened so that there should be less delay in getting a response from us.
Webmastering
- Q. If I contract your Webmastering service, do I have to host with you?
- A. While the same $50/month fee entitles you to hosting and webmastering, you can use only one if you so choose. We will maintain your site hosted elsewhere just as though it were on our own server. You need only provide us all the access information so that we can perform our service directly.
